What is Chrysalis Stories?
A small online bookshop with a point of view: books as a chrysalis, a container for becoming. Right now the shelves hold digital reading tools — kits, trackers, and companions for inner life. Physical books join them in late 2026.
What do I actually get when I buy a digital product?
A zip holding two editions of your PDF — SCREEN for reading on a device, PRINT for home printing — delivered by email right after purchase, yours to keep. Everything is designed to be printed at home on ordinary paper — no special printer required — or used on a tablet if you'd rather not print.
My download didn't arrive.
Check the email you used at checkout, including spam. Still nothing after a few minutes? Write to hello@chrysalisstoriesco.com with your order number and we'll send it directly. We'd rather resend five times than have you go without.
What if something goes wrong with my order?
Write to us — that's the whole first step. Digital goods are delivered instantly, so sales are technically final, but we're a small shop and we'd rather be kind than technical: if something arrived broken, isn't what the page described, or you accidentally bought the same thing twice, tell us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund it. What's the reading archetype quiz?
Six questions, about an hour past your bedtime. At the end you meet your reading archetype — one of five ways of coming to books — and a starter shelf chosen for the reader you already are. It's free, and it's the best introduction to how this shop thinks. It is not a psychological assessment — just a lens, offered with care.
What's The Late Hour?
Our letter. Occasional, quiet, never algorithmic — shelf notes for the season you're in, sent when there's something worth staying up for. You can join from the newsletter page, and leave whenever the daylight calls you back.
What are The Moonreaders?
Our late-night reading circle, opening once there are enough of us to fill the room. The Late Hour readers hear first. For now: a light left on, and a waitlist.
Can I share a kit I bought with a friend?
The files are for your personal use — printing copies for yourself is exactly what they're for; posting or redistributing them isn't. If a friend needs one and money is the obstacle, have them write to us. We'd rather find a way than have the right book miss the right reader.
When are physical books coming?
Late 2026. The shelves are being chosen now — slowly, the way we choose everything. The Late Hour hears first.
Do you ship internationally?
Digital products: everywhere, instantly. Physical books: details arrive with the book shop in late 2026.
How do I reach a human?
hello@chrysalisstoriesco.com. Replies come from a person, usually within 2–3 business days — sometimes at an hour you wouldn't expect.
